What "legit" does and does not mean
It means the product exists as described, the seller will still be reachable in November, and the terms mean something. All three check out.

The figure people misread
Students' sales through one network, over many years, confirmed in writing. It is not his income, it is not typical, and it is not a forecast. Read correctly it is strong evidence the programmes are real at scale. Read as an earnings claim it is being misused — including by some people promoting it this week.
The one thing I would still watch
The urgency copy. A real closing date, with unnecessary decoration beside it. Plan against the published date and ignore the rest.
