I wanted to know how Commission Cycle actually works before I believed a word of the promise, so I followed it from the first post to the commission using the vendor's own report, the sessions and the official order page. These are my notes, step by step.

Key takeaways

  • A 45-second post asks for one word, an automated message replies, a one-page presell recommends the offer.
  • It works because every step produces a reply, and replies are what platforms reward.
  • The list is later served a larger offer, which is where the cycle earns most.
  • Official price: $2,497 once or six payments of $497, with a 30-day guarantee on an honest attempt.
  • The founding class and bonuses close with the cart on 24 September, 11:59pm Pacific.

The surprise was not in any single step. It was in why the steps fit together, and I have written that part up in the third section.

How Does Commission Cycle Work, in One Paragraph?

You post a 45-second video that asks viewers to comment a single word. Each comment triggers an automated private message.

Attractthe postConvertthe messageAscendthe listCompoundreinvestment
How Commission Cycle works, as I drew it in my notes.

That message carries a link to one page, and the page recommends one offer. The people who come through join a list, and later some of them are offered a larger product.

The commissions pay for more posts. That is how Commission Cycle works, and everything below is detail.

Plainly, before anything else: the buttons in these notes are my affiliate links and I earn a commission if you buy through them. You pay the same price on the official order page either way.

What Is Commission Cycle?

Commission Cycle is Mark Ling's 2026 affiliate marketing program. Affiliate marketing means recommending products that other people sell and earning a commission on each sale.

Commission Cycle teaches a particular way of doing it, built as a four-step loop, and it is sold with an eight-week blueprint, a founding cohort and a set of tools that do the fiddly parts for you.

What struck me in my notes is how narrow it is by design. Commission Cycle does not try to teach every way of making money online.

It teaches one loop, in one order, and it gives you the tools and the people to keep running it. For anyone who has bought a sprawling course and never finished it, that narrowness is the whole appeal.

I will send you the playbook

It is the six-page guide I would hand somebody starting today — what to promote, thirty openers, and the first fortnight. Free. I will also nudge you once before the 24th, and that is all.

One guide and one nudge from me. Unsubscribe in a click.

Why Does Commission Cycle Work Better Now Than It Would Have in 2020?

This is the part that made the rest click for me. I used to think platforms simply rewarded the best-looking videos.

That was roughly true when they ranked on watch time. They have since worked out that the strongest sign a post is valuable is whether people reply to it.

A comment counts. A direct message counts more.

A reply to that message is the strongest signal of all.

At the same time, the tools got cheap. Automated direct messages used to need a developer. The vendor's report puts them at around $15 a month now, through official Meta partners, set up once on a phone.

The key to all of it

It works because every step produces a reply, and a reply is the one thing the platforms pay for in reach. Once I saw that, the four steps stopped looking like a recipe and started looking like a machine that feeds itself.

How Does Step 1, Attract, Work?

You make a mini post: a 45-second video filmed on your phone. It opens with one of four opening lines the program supplies and ends with one ask, to comment a single word.

There is no editing and no studio, and you do not have to show your face. The program gives you 27 post structures so you are never staring at a blank screen, and a clip vault if you want to stay faceless.

People say yes to small asks, and every yes is a comment the platform notices.

I noticed how small the ask is. Commenting one word is much easier than leaving the app, clicking a link and reading a page. People say yes to small asks, and every yes is a comment the platform notices.

How Does Step 2, Convert, Work?

The comment triggers an automated direct message. It is a short conversation, two or three messages, that gives the person what they asked for and keeps them replying.

Only at the end does a link appear, and it goes to a one-page presell rather than straight to the offer.

This is where the design gets clever. The platform sees a conversation, not an exit. The person asked for the link, so they are glad to get it. And the presell page warms them up before they ever see the vendor's sales page.

I tried to picture it from the viewer's side. They see a short video, type one word because it costs them nothing, and a friendly message arrives with what they asked for.

By the time the link appears, they have already said yes twice. That is a very different feeling from a stranger dropping a link in a bio and hoping someone clicks it.

How Does Step 3, Ascend, Work?

Everyone who comes through the messages joins a list. The vendor's report points out something I had not considered: roughly a quarter of any audience is also interested in making money online, closer to 40% in manifestation audiences and about 20% in dating and relationships.

Mark calls them the hidden buyers. The Ascend step offers those people a larger product later, one that nobody has ever put in front of them.

How Does Step 4, Compound, Work?

The commissions get reinvested: more posts, a second traffic source by month two, and better tools. Because the post that makes a sale is also the post that earns the most replies, it keeps getting shown to new people.

That is why it is called a cycle.

So reinvestment multiplies rather than just adding. That is why it is called a cycle.

How Does the Commission Cycle Automation Work?

Once the direct message sequence is set up, every comment gets its reply automatically, at any hour.

45 secper post
20 minan evening
$15/momessage automation
14 daysfirst build, per the vendor

I like that the automation sits exactly where a human is weakest, answering hundreds of people instantly, while the human part stays where people are strongest: the short video that makes someone stop scrolling.

The automation also protects reach. Each conversation lasts a few messages, and each message adds to the reply signal the platform is watching. So the post that started it all gets shown to more people, and the loop turns again.

How Does the Commission Cycle Presell Page Work?

The presell is a single page that sits between the conversation and the offer. It explains why the offer suits the reader, answers the obvious questions, and sends them on warmed up.

You do not have to write it from scratch: the generator drafts the page, a short report and your follow-up emails from a brief. I found that reassuring, because writing a sales page is where most beginners freeze.

How Does Commission Cycle Make Money From the Same People Twice?

The vendor's report walks through an example, with round numbers labelled as assumptions. A hundred people come through the messages.

First sale only, per person45 cents
After the Ascend step, per person$3.45
The vendor's worked example, with its own stated assumptions. Not a forecast.

About two buy a $30 front-end offer, roughly $45 in commission, or 45 cents per person. Of those hundred, about 25 are also interested in making money online.

If 1% of them buy a $2,500 offer, the same hundred people are worth about $345. From 45 cents per person to $3.45, with no extra traffic.

Which means the Ascend step, not the first sale, is where Commission Cycle really works. I wrote this down as the vendor's illustration rather than a forecast; the report itself says halving every assumption still roughly quadruples the value per person.

How Does Commission Cycle Get Traffic Without Ads?

From the platforms' own reach. Instagram and YouTube carry the posts, and the posts that start conversations get shown more.

"Link in bio"
  • People leave the app
  • Reach gets cut
  • Best seller shown least
The comment loop
  • People stay and talk
  • Reach gets rewarded
  • Best seller shown most
The contrast that convinced me.

The vendor's report notes that fewer than 1 in 100 accounts use this comment loop, which is why a plain post can stand out. There is no ad card to decline and no ad account to lose.

A second traffic source is added by month two, once the first is working.

The contrast with "link in bio" is what convinced me. When a post sends people away, the algorithm shows it less, so a bio-link post that sells well quietly gets buried. The Commission Cycle loop reverses that: the better a post sells, the more it is shown.

That single reversal is, for me, the clearest answer to how Commission Cycle works where other methods stall. Most approaches fight the platform for attention.

This one gives the platform exactly what it is trying to create, conversations that keep people on the app, and the platform returns the favour in reach.

What Does Commission Cycle Need From You?

Less than I expected. The vendor's report lists eight things you do not need: a product, a website, an audience, your face on camera, an ad budget, writing or design skill, anything technical, or months of waiting for a first sale.

It needs
  • A phone
  • Twenty minutes an evening
  • Consistency for eight weeks
It does not need
  • A product
  • A website
  • An audience
  • Your face
  • An ad budget
  • Tech skills
Less than I expected, from the vendor's own list.

What Commission Cycle does need is a phone and about twenty minutes an evening, kept as a fixed slot.

So how does Commission Cycle work on an ordinary weekday? In my notes it looks like this.

You pick a structure, film 45 seconds, and publish with the one-word ask. You glance at the conversations the automation has already handled.

You note any question for Charlie, the AI coach, or the cohort. Twenty minutes, and the rest of the day belongs to you while the messages keep answering.

How Long Does Commission Cycle Take to Work?

The vendor puts the first build at about 14 days: choose the offer, connect the automation, generate the page, film the first posts. A second traffic source follows by month two.

Choosethe first offer
Connectthe automation
Generatethe presell page
Postthe first mini posts
Month twoa second source
The first build, in order. About 14 days, per the vendor.

Two things from the report and the sessions I would pin to the wall. First, eighteen comments and no sales in the first fortnight is exactly on track; it is the loop warming up.

Second, Mark called the climb to $100 a week, about $14 a day, the hardest stretch, with everything after it the same work done more often. Why would the small number be the hard one?

Because the first weeks are the ones without proof yet. He also showed $337 a day on a slide and said plainly that it illustrates the model and is not a forecast.

What Does Commission Cycle Cost?

ItemCostSource
Program, one payment$2,497Official order page
Program, payment planSix payments of $497Official order page
AutomationAround $15 a monthVendor's report

Across a year the single payment comes to about $48 a week. The honest comparison is working out how Commission Cycle works on your own, from free videos: free to start, and a long, lonely road, because nothing tells you which step comes next.

Who Built Commission Cycle, and Why Does That Matter?

Mark Ling, online since 1999. His first commission came from a banner ad on a Britney Spears fan page he built.

He is a multiple-time ClickBank Diamond award winner, and ClickBank has confirmed in writing that students of his earlier programs generated over $400 million in sales through ClickBank alone. That is students' sales through one network, not his income and not typical.

Why it matters to how Commission Cycle works: the whole method rests on one principle he has applied across search, Facebook, YouTube and email for twenty-five years. Help the platform get what it wants and it pushes your content. Principles like that outlast tricks.

Who Does Commission Cycle Work Best For?

The vendor names four buyers: the Side-Hustler who wants income around family life, the Stuck Marketer who has tried before and wants the missing piece, the Pre-Retiree who wants something from home that keeps paying, and the Systems Person who can already see the loop and wants to scale it.

Having followed the steps, I would add that it works best for anyone who will post consistently for eight weeks, because consistency is the only input it truly needs.

If you are wondering how does Commission Cycle work for someone with no audience at all, the answer is in the mechanism. Comments do not care how many followers you have.

A clear post with a simple ask can start conversations on a brand new account, which is exactly what Mark's 60 Day Demo, rebuilding from zero on a new phone, is there to show.

What Would Stop It Working, and What Handles That?

If I were at the order page with the tab still open, I know which sentences would be running through my head, because they ran through it for other courses.

"I just do not have the time right now."It asks for twenty minutes an evening, and the twenty has to be a booked slot, not the leftovers. Unbooked time always gets eaten.

"That is a lot to spend on a maybe."About $48 a week across a year, with a cohort and a coach included. Waiting has a price too. It simply arrives later.

"I am not a tech person."Neither am I, and there is nothing to code. The generator drafts the page and the emails from a short brief, and the clip vault takes the camera out of it.

"What if it simply does not work for me?"Then that is exactly what the guarantee is for. Open the weeks, publish the page, post, and decide with real results.

I keep picturing the version of the week after next where I started: a page live, a week of posts out, and a few strangers who typed a word under something I wrote. Nothing earned yet, and the loop working on my own account.

And the other version: same evenings, the cart shut after the 24th, and a founding class a week ahead of me.

What Comes With Commission Cycle?

Eight parts: the eight-week blueprint, the generator, 27 post structures, the clip vault, the founding cohort that started on 18 September, the 60 Day Demo where Mark rebuilds from zero on a new phone, Charlie the AI coach, and the members portal.

The people who start alongside you are the ones still posting in week six, and a quiet group is a surprisingly effective alarm clock.

The vendor adds two founding bonuses, the same through any affiliate: The 100K Campaign, a four-to-six-week promotion to a warm audience with daily steps supplied, and Snowball Profits LIVE, two days in Austin in January 2027, recorded if you cannot get there. Both close with the cart.

When people ask me how does Commission Cycle work in practice rather than on paper, I point to these parts. The blueprint tells you what to do this week.

The generator and the structures remove the blank page. The automation handles the conversations.

The cohort, Charlie and the 60 Day Demo keep you going when a week feels quiet. Each part covers a place where people usually stall.

Is There a Commission Cycle Guarantee?

There is a 30-day guarantee, with one condition, an honest attempt. Did that condition bother me at first?

A little. Then I read it properly.

It is not thirty days to change my mind. It is thirty days to actually find out how Commission Cycle works on my own account, and that is the better deal.

When Does Commission Cycle Close?

The cart is scheduled to close 24 September 2026, 11:59pm Pacific. That is the vendor's published date, set when the cart opened. The founding cohort and both founding bonuses belong to this window only.

I wrote the date at the top of my notes for a reason. The founding class, which is the part that keeps beginners going, only starts once, and it starts with this cart.

Commission Cycle Official Website: Where Should You Go?

The official website is commissioncycle.com. My buttons open the official order page there with my affiliate link attached, so you get the same page, the same price and the same guarantee, plus what I add.

Click a button in these notes last, just before paying, because the final link clicked gets the credit.

What Would I Do If I Were You?

Thank you for reading my notes rather than just the price. You now know how Commission Cycle works, step by step: the post, the conversation, the page, the list, the larger offer, the reinvestment, and why the platform rewards every one of them.

You looked this up because you want a second income started this year, not another year of reading about one. Nothing in these notes argues you out of that.

And the reason it works is the reason to start now: every step produces a reply, and replies are what the platforms pay for in reach.

What my notes cannot give you is the program itself: the weeks in order, the structures, the generator, the cohort, and sixty days of Mark from zero where the class can watch.

If you are going ahead, here is the order I would follow. Click a button in these notes last, just before paying.

Pay on the official order page. Then email your receipt to [email protected] with the subject bonus request, from the address you paid with.

I read these myself, usually the same day, and the first item I deliver is the page the method needs, built and live on your own domain.

The founding window closes with the cart on 24 September 2026, 11:59pm Pacific, on the vendor's published terms.

How Does Commission Cycle Work: FAQs

How does Commission Cycle work?

A 45-second post asks viewers to comment one word. Each comment triggers an automated direct message, the message links to a one-page presell, and the page recommends an affiliate offer. Buyers join a list that is later offered a larger product.

What are the four steps of Commission Cycle?

Attract, Convert, Ascend and Compound: the post, the automated conversation, the list and the larger offer, and reinvesting commissions.

Why does Commission Cycle ask for a comment instead of a click?

Platforms reward replies and reduce the reach of posts that send people away. A comment keeps the person on the platform and signals that the post is valuable.

Final Thoughts: How Does Commission Cycle Work?

So, how does Commission Cycle work?

It turns the one thing platforms now reward most, a reply, into the engine of an affiliate business: a post that asks for a word, a conversation that answers it, a page that presents the offer, a list that is served twice, and commissions that are put back in.

Each step feeds the next, which is why it is called a cycle. The founding window is open until 24 September 2026, 11:59pm Pacific.
